Privacy, Terms & Disclaimers

Plain-language summaries of how we handle information and the limits of what this website provides. Full policies will be published here following review by the practice’s healthcare attorney.

Draft for attorney review. The sections below are placeholders describing the intended content of each policy. They are not final legal documents and must be reviewed and approved by counsel before launch.

Medical disclaimer

The content on this website is provided for general educational purposes only. It is not medical advice, does not create a physician–patient relationship, and is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified physician. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read on this site. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Telemedicine

Virtual visits are provided only to patients physically located in a state in which the physician holds an active license at the time of the visit. Before a first visit, patients review and sign a telemedicine informed consent describing the benefits, limitations and risks of care delivered by video, including when in-person evaluation is required. [Full telemedicine consent to be provided by counsel.]

Privacy and HIPAA

Protected health information is handled in accordance with HIPAA and applicable Texas law. Clinical information is stored in our electronic health record and patient portal, not on this website. This website does not collect health information; any analytics used are configured to avoid collecting personal identifiers. [Notice of Privacy Practices and website privacy policy to be provided by counsel.]

Direct-pay and financial policies

Neuro Longevity Care is a direct-pay practice and does not participate with insurance plans. Fees are disclosed before booking. Patients receive an itemized receipt and may seek reimbursement from their insurer or use HSA/FSA funds where eligible; reimbursement is not guaranteed. Cancellation and refund terms are shown at booking. [Direct-pay agreement, Medicare arrangement and financial policy to be provided by counsel.]

Family education and care-navigation services

Educational and care-navigation sessions provided to family members are consultative and educational in nature. They do not create a physician–patient relationship with the person whose care is discussed, do not replace the treating team, and do not include diagnosis, orders or prescriptions for anyone who is not a patient of the practice. Any sharing of another person’s medical information requires appropriate authorization. [Scope language and family communication authorization to be provided by counsel.]

Professional and medical-legal services

Professional consulting, record review, peer review and expert services are provided under separate written engagement, are governed by the terms of that engagement and applicable law, and are entirely separate from patient care. No physician–patient relationship is created by a professional engagement.

Testimonials and advertising

This website does not currently publish patient testimonials. Any future testimonials will be genuine, used with written authorization, and presented in compliance with applicable Texas Medical Board advertising rules and privacy law. Nothing on this site promises a particular outcome.
